Leader’s Meta-Coaching Minute:
What’s going on here???
Cal is an executive with big ideas
He understands the need to change
quickly to keep ahead of the competition.
Yet, he is constantly frustrated that
change comes too slow or not at all.
What’s wrong with these people???
As a leader, how satisfied are you
with your success at creating change???
What is it that I need to fix???
What’s really going on here?
First, fully accept reality as it is. This means acceptingyourself, others, and life without evaluation or judgment.
Self-Actualization
Coaching Tip
Next, step back and calmly look at the situation. This is difficult for difficult for
anxious people and requires an inner quietness to be
present with what is.
Self-Actualization
Coaching Tip
Then, set aside your expectations and your ego.
They can drown out the voice of reality.
