A round walk of approx 5 miles. This walk includes some prolonged inclines, some stiles and oodles of mud. When: Saturday 14th Febru-ary. Time: 10.30am - 2.00pm. Cost: Free. Sheffield Botanical RSPB Aren’t Birds Brilliant Event

Come and see the wildlife of the Botanical Gardens with the RSPB. Meet at the Demonstration Centre Thompson Road entrance. Tel-escopes and binoculars available. There will be fun activities for children, guided walks, information and simple tips about gardening and bird feeding that people can adopt to make a real difference to the environment. The Gardens will showcase its fabulous wildlife and people may be lucky enough to see woodpeckers, nuthatches and jays, and of course the ever present virtually tame squirrels. Lambing Open Day at Whirlow Hall Farm

A lambing open day is being held at Whirlow Hall Farm. The open day will also include pony rides, craft activities and a barbecue. When: Thursday 19th February. Time: 10.00am - 3.00pm. Activities include shelter building, arts and crafts, team games and many more with the focus on encouraging children to have an ac-tive role in planning future activities.
