1

When Frank Underbrink learned of his terminal illness he made his final contri-

bution to the Chicago Archaeological Society by specifying in his will that he

wanted his mask collection to go to the Chicago Archaeological Society.

His collection was accumulated during his travels of more than a quarter of a cen-

tury. Like most of his travel acquisitions his first use was always his classroom.

His collection will make a substantial contribution to the CAS.
