Thank you for the love you have given meI will cherish it through EternityLife was incomplete till you came alongAnd taught me truly how to belong

When the night is quiet and the moon is brightYou may hear soft echoes like distant lightsListen quietly for it may be meTrying to visit you through your memory

If you think of me in your solitudePromise to give me a happy moodThink of me not as far awayFor I am with you every bit of the day.

As I cross Life’s river to the other sideThe love that you gave me will serve as my lightHeaven or Hell will matter notFor on Earth I have you and its pure delight!

My soul will depart with no regretsI will wait for you at the end of the bridgeThe love that we have I am sure will span To that mysterious place called the Promised Land
