The focus of our development has been to create a modern chart specification, taking into consideration recent research and our vast experience as a chart producer. In this
presentation we have highlighted the changes, so please take some time to go through it.
A brief overview of the new features:
Page numbering and chart name.
Chart frame including frame text.
Introduction of Communication box on several types of charts.
Enhanced symbols.
Improved presentation of altitudes.
Presentation of Take-off minima on aerodrome charts.
Depiction of Landing minima.

General. Common regulations and information.
Arrival. Regulations and information referring to arriving aircraft.
Company information. Tailored information for a specific customer, with distri-bution limited to the customer concerned.
Departure. Regulations and information referring to departing aircraft.
When there is not enough information to issue a GENERAL page (e.g. smaller
aerodromes) the information will be presented on
the AERODROME chart under the common heading “General Information”.
Chart type GENERAL can be combined (on the same page) with chart type
GROUND, called GENERAL / GROUND.
GENERAL – Main headingsNavtech aerochart

Chart GROUND comprises details of parking stands, taxiway system, traffic blocks, intersection take-off positions etc. which cannot be shown on the
AERODROME chart.
Larger airports may require more than one GROUND chart to cover the information, and then a descriptive text is added to the designator
e.g. GROUND Parking, GROUND Cargo terminal, GROUND Overview etc.
