• Lamb is reserved for special occasions…

– Is expensive, and

– Is not considered consumer friendly.

• Given lamb’s comparative price point this will be

difficult to overcome.

• Frozen sheepmeat is not seen as fresh,

therefore, the taste is not as good (perception).

• Lamb is not seen as nutritional, or healthy when
