Today, e-mail is still the Enterprise’s primary tool for online communication, and in many cases for collaboration!
Change is overdue
Problem 1: Collaborating on a piece of textProblem 2: Adding new people to the conversationProblem 3: Keeping added people addedProblem 4: Attaching filesProblem 5: Lost attachmentsProblem 6: Multiple conversation branchesProblem 7: Small correctionsProblem 8: Email to IM to Email

E-mail mimics snail mail
More seriously, E-mail provides no business context into your communication and collaboration
By design solves most of e-mail’s problems:-Collaborating on a piece of text-Adding new people to the conversation-Keeping added people added-Attaching files-Lost attachments-Multiple conversation branches-Small corrections-Email to IM to Email
More importantly, Wave can easily be extended to provide business context into your communication and collaboration
Wave is a hosted conversation

Does Wave replace e-mail?
• No– but look at your inbox to
identify scenarios for wave usage
– and expect your inbox to shrink
Wave is not just another application
• Even if Google fails to woo the enterprise with the product, other vendors will innovate using the same platform and protocol
The first steps for using Wave in the Enterprise• Unfortunately, Wave user interface is not
intuitive enough for mainstream adoption just yet
• Start small, measure progress– Identify processes where a small team can
benefit from the features of Wave– Implement simple extentions to existing
business applications for Wave– Measure the performance of processes
compared to before
Prerequisites for mainstream Enterprise adoption• More intuitive user interface• Authentication and SSO through
corporate LDAP• Wave federation server inside firewall or
in private cloud• Integration with existing task lists and
inboxes• Vendors providing off-the-shelf support
for Wave
