Pastoral Care Worker
Hello, my name is Carley Anderson and I am the new Pastoral Care Worker, providing a Chaplaincy Service at Whyalla Town Primary School. Pastoral Care Workers offer a unique dimension of care and support to all members of the school community. I will be a positive role model and I bring compassion, understanding and provide practical, ongoing support to students and families. My role includes working alongside and complementing other welfare and wellbeing staff in the school. As the School Pastoral Care Worker, I will be available in the yard at break times, will work alongside teachers and students in the classroom, and I will be an extra resource to teachers to support extra-curricular events and activities. I also provide a Christian presence in the school on behalf of the local churches. I will be at the school every Friday. Parents and care-givers can contact me through the school front office. I am really looking forward to assisting the school staff to provide the best outcomes for students and their families.

We are currently taking orders for School bags if you would like to purchase a WTPS bag please contact the Front Office. The cost of these bags are $45.00
Milkshake Day
Due to our last milkshake day being such a huge success with the children the canteen will be holding another one in week 4, Monday 22 nd May.
Order forms will be going out this week.
Forms and correct money can be placed in the container provided at the Front Office, orders need to be placed NO later than Thursday 18 th May 2017.

Mothers Day Stall
We would like to thank all the families who supported the Mothers Day stall and the volunteers who helped run the stall. This was a huge success raising a huge total of $639.75 Well done!
