Friday
Presentation by Anne Hillerman
When: Friday, April 1, 2016
Where: Desert Caballeros Western Museum - Learning Center
Time: 12:00 pm
All Ages
Description: Following in her father’s literary footsteps, Anne continues the mysteries of Leaphorn and Chee on
the Rez. But she gives her tales a decidedly feminine twist, focusing on Officer Bernie Manuelito more than on
the two main characters of her father’s works. Anne still captures all the cultural significance that made her
father’s work so popular. Her presentation is the first event of the Wickenburg Literary Festival which
continues around town throughout the first weekend in April. Anne Hillerman’s books are available in the
museum stores.

high-energy mambos and rumbas. Titled the “King of the Conga,” Sanchez’s music will keep you on your toes.
