Comparison b/w Windows and Mac OS:
• There are many options for computer design.• Most people can jump on a windows and figure it out in a short time.• Many software choices.• Cheaper than a Mac.
• You will never have driver issues.• Very reliable.• Nice looking Graphical Interface.• Easier to receive tech. support.• Macintosh writes software, and make the hardware so it just works together.• Mac is always updating; faster. • No viruses.
You Know, the whole unique look of Mac does not work for everyone!! It is pricey too. Mac doesn’t have many options for computer design either.
PCs have many disadvantages too! It is slow to update their software. They aren’t up-to-date like Mac and there are more than 114,000 different kinds of PC viruses. Windows as a software can be used by any computer company, however Macintosh can only be used by an Apple publisher.
Security: Security is a big issue for most computer users these days, whether it be opening emails, surfing the internet, or even purchasing things. It is a wide known fact that there are about 1,14,000 viruses out there that can affect the windows OS, but for Macintosh there are no known viruses that can do the damage that all of these have done to a PC nor even effect them at all. The last major virus that was supposed to come out was the conficker virus, unfortunately this virus affected no Mac but it was aimed toward PC users instead.
Support: When it comes to support, I find it hard to believe that pc could be as prestigious and sufficient as Mac is. Due to the way that the Mac OS is set up, there is less to jumble around to find the problem than what there is with Mac. Also Mac prides themselves in the reliability of a good computer, so much that they offer a insurance that from what I have seen is far superior to that of PC. Apple care is not only cheaper to insure your computer but the longevity of the insurance lasts for three years and most companies for PC only last for about one year.
Price: Many people are led to believe that Macintosh computers are either too expensive or they are not worth the money that you put into them. When you look at the styles and variations that the Mac has, you will see very few compared to the variations that its counterparts Dell and Sony have. This is due to the fact that although the price could be much cheaper, this goes along with the performance of the computer.

Conclusion:Both Macintosh and Windows have their own
strengths and weaknesses as a Operating System.
The bottom line is, your very own preference and lifestyle will dictate which of the computer brand is more compatible to you.
We can’t say which is better Mac OS or Windows OS, each one have its advantages and disadvantages, depending on the use of the computer we can say that this OS is better than that.
THANK YOU!
