Trip Cancellation PolicyIf you are signed up for a tour and it is necessary for you to cancel, we will make

every effort to provide either a partial or full refund. However, we cannot guarantee a full refund. There are many variables such as ticket purchases, meal number guarantees, etc.

If you must cancel, we recommend that you try to find someone else to take your place on the scheduled trip to guarantee a full refund.

If a tour is cancelled due to insufficient reservation numbers, you will receive a full refund. Whenever we use an outside agent to book trips, we must adhere to the written cancellation policy of that agent.

This is why waiting lists are important. Even when you know a trip is filled, have your name added to the list. In case of a cancellation, we will call in the order of sign up.

Due to the distance between the Fidelity Banks in eastern Iowa, it is necessary for some people to travel to a central location to meet the coach. This inconvenience is unavoidable at times, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Happy New Year to all our Fidelity Five Star members!! I’d like to give a special WELCOME to our new members from the Clarence, Stanwood, Tipton and West Branch locations!! We now have 10 branches in our southern Fidelity Five Star Family!! It is going to be great getting to know more of our members.

Because of our growth, we will have a couple additions to our Five Star activities. When we added our friends from Bellevue, LaMotte and Maquoketa, we added a pick-up stop when needed. With 4 more branch locations, we will have another pickup point. or two. depending on which direction we are heading. In April, our potluck party will be in Anamosa at the Lawrence Community Center to make it more centrally located.

Please be sure to check out the activities and sign up ASAP when you receive our newsletter. We are sure to fill up faster with having more members. If we do reach capacity, we have a waiting list, and I will call the first one on the list when we have an opening.

We’ve been working really hard to come up with a great year of activities, and I hope you all like what we have planned. We’ll be heading in different directions and taking in some great shows, along with short tours or shopping stops to fill each of our day trips.

As usual, all of the trips are all-inclusive unless stated otherwise. The price includes coach transportation, snacks (Pam keeps us well-fed!) and activities on the bus, lunch, admission, and tips. If you choose to have a glass of wine with your meal, or do a little shopping, that would be extra.

Happy New Year everyone!!! Wow 2020!!! Here we go into another decade. It seems not only the years go by fast, but now we are talking about decades!! Just the other day someone at the bank mentioned Y2K which is now 20 years past. Sadly it seems almost like yesterday. Thank goodness we in the banking world did not have to deal with any of that mania at the end of this decade. We at Fidelity Bank & Trust did however have a lot to deal with this past year. I truly commend our staff and our customers for having the fortitude and patience to deal with the work and transitioning of a new core processing system and merging two sister banks all into ONE Fidelity Bank & Trust. In ways I hope that all that took place for our employees this past year was a non-event for you, however I know that is not quite true. We are very thankful for your patience and support of our bank and the products and services we provide. Through all of this, we hope to be able to deliver even better banking services to you for many decades to come.

Though all this was going on, our Five Star Club was still functioning smoothly with some very nice monthly gatherings, events, and awesome trips. I know, as I ventured on the African trip in October which was truly amazing. It was way more than I would have imagined as we were planning for the trip and that I can give justice to in this newsletter. Jolene and Mayflower had the trip totally planned and it went off without a hitch. If you have thought about a dream trip, certainly consider our Five Star Club as they take all the worry out of it for our travelers. Now, go have another great year and decade!!!
