Welcome to The Good Companions Seniors’ Centre!

Winter Program Registration and Membership Renewal

Registration for Fall Programs and Membership Renewal will take place on January 5th, 6th and 7th in Rooms 142/147. The Day Centre Staff would like to stress the importance of coming to register between 10am-2pm on these days to help guarantee a spot in your desired courses. If you are unable to make it to the Centre during these times, you may register over the phone with a credit card from the comfort of your own home. You may also send a friend to register and pay on your behalf.

Following the designated program registration period, many courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment. If you decide to wait until the week after the registration period, a course that appealed to you may have been cancelled but wouldn’t have been, had we known you were interested!

If you must wait until the week after to register, please be prepared for lengthy wait times at the Front Desk as there is no designated staff member to take your registration and all enrollments must be processed by the receptionist who will be busy answering calls and assisting other members with day to day inquiries.

Thanks for your cooperation! We hope to see you on January 5th, 6th and 7th!

As seasons change, The Good Companions celebrates its role as the all-inclusive hub of social, physical and spiritual activity for the 55+ community and adults with disabilities.

Today, we celebrate our Diamond Anniversary. For some, turning 60 would seem like the perfect time to slow down but that is certainly not the case for the entire TGC team (board, staff, membership, volunteers and valued supporters). The fact is, we are just finding our stride! There are new opportunities, friendships and challenges on the horizon for us to pursue.

The 55+ community continues to grow in record numbers and it is our mission to support and empower them, be it within the Centre or beyond our doors.

The code of our humanity is faithful service to the belief that we should give to those that have given before us and to those who are in need today.

Serving those who have given without reservation through the years is an honorable responsibility. A responsibility we cherish today and will continue to cherish for another 60 years!

On behalf of Mariola Kolakowski (Co-Interim Executive Director) and the entire TGC team, I wish you and yours the very best through the holidays.

Ken Evraire Interim Executive Director

Director of Fundraising and Marketing
