ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE & ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES (Petrocelli 112) Environmental coursework is tailor-made for this campus. With 1,200 acres of woods, trails, wetlands, and other ecological areas, you’ll conduct important fieldwork during class and focus on understanding human-environment interactions and their impact on today’s society.

EDUCATION AND M.ED. PROGRAM (Petrocelli 114)Teachers change the lives of young people. Focus your degree on one of the following areas: Elementary Education, General Special Education, or Secondary Education (English, Life Sciences, or Social Studies). You can also continue into graduate school with the online M.Ed. program at Franklin Pierce.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (Fitzwater 102)Study the social science implications of emergency response. Although this non-clinical program does not lead to EMT or paramedic certification, you can work on campus as a security officer, EMT, or firefighter.

PLAY-BY-PLAY Q&AJoin us for a Q&A with the radio voice of the Patriots, play-by-play announcer Bob Socci and “Hardy” from the Zolak & Bertrand show. Ask Socci what it’s like to call the games live from inside the broadcast booth! Or pick Hardy’s brain about his work on the #1 radio station in Boston.

Bob Socci is in his sixth season as the play-by-play voice of the Patriots Radio Network. His play calling has won rave reviews, and his enthusiasm and accuracy have continued a tradition of excellence. Before joining the Patriots, Bob served as the voice of the Naval Academy Midshipmen for 16 years. The Milton, MA native has also been the lead voice of the Patriot League College Basketball for CBS Sports Network, and has called Triple-A Baseball for the last decade, most recently as the voice of the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Rob “Hardy” Poole is in his ninth year working for 98.5 The Sports Hub. He manages on-air production for Boston’s #1 station, the Zolak & Bertrand show, which airs weekdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Hardy is also an on-field announcer for the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse, as well as the host of Sirius XM Lithium, a 90s Alternative Music and Grunge Rock station.
