As a trailblazing project that crossed disciplines to include arts, tourism and agricul-ture Long Island Winterfest was awarded the 2012 Arts Destination Marketing Award-by Destination Marketing Association International and Americans for the Arts.

Winterfest represents a broad collective of businesses reflecting the East End of Long Island including wineries, breweries, restaurants, hotels, performing arts, galleries and retail. Mar-keting efforts reached over 5 million impressions in 2019.
