2019 AUGUST LIVE AND LEARN PRESENTS THE ART OF ARBOR ACRES with Steven Dunn, Arbor Acres’ Resident and Artist Arbor Acres has long been known for its spectacular art collection found throughout campus. Not only has it been used as a marketing tool, but it also has been cited as a major reason for moving to this campus. Residents, families of residents, friends and vendors enjoy our collection daily. Over the last year, Steven Dunn (above, and with help from Gail Troost) has spent time photographing, cataloguing, researching and organizing the many pieces of art owned by Arbor Acres. September Look AheadOld Salem Pottery Talk

Wednesday, September 4, 4:00 pm, Piner Hall Nick Bragg and a member of the Old Salem Museum staff will discuss the Moravians and their culture, and their pottery in particular. Old Salem Pottery Workshop Saturday, September 7, Leave 9:30 am Decorate your own traditional Moravian slip-trail plate. Learn about the historical techniques and symbolism of the designs. ARTIST SPOTLIGHT Chantel “Cam” Moore is a shining example of Artistry! Cam joined Arbor Acres as

a Resident Nutrition Assistant this year in Willingham Court . Cam has a reputation for spreading good cheer among her coworkers and providing excellent customer service to our residents. “She’s always on top of it, making sure residents get what they want and that their diets are correct,” shares supervisor Chelsea Griffin, Certified Dietary Manager. We appreciate Cam for her great work!
