***Deposits are due TODAY for the Year 5/6 Excursion to Canberra. As of today, we have had very few responses and if we don’t get the numbers, the excursion will be unable to go ahead. Payment plans are available for the remainder of the cost of the excursion. Payments can be made via EFTPOS at the front office and over the phone. ***Full payment of the Year 6 t‐shirts is also due by the end of Term 1!
Brodie and Rory represented our school at the Zone Swimming Carnival for mul ‐class athletes on 15th March. Both students did an amazing job, recording personal best mes in their free‐style races. Both Brodie and Rory made the State Swimming team. This is an amazing opportunity to represent the Riverina at the NSW PSSA State Championships in Sydney at Olympic Park. Well done Rory and Brodie!!

PBL BRONZE Awards
Crazy Hair Day is on Thursday 12th April. Do your hair in a crazy way and bring a gold coin dona on to raise money for cancer research. In the a ernoon, students will get to par cipate in a number of differ‐ent cra ac vi es. Pain ng, cook‐ing and wood‐work will be amongst a number of different cra ac vi es students will have the chance to enjoy.

Paris Paris lives next to a big blue river with a snowy hill behind it. Every night when Paris goes to sleep she can hear the wind and the water flowing in the river.

Rainy Day Rebecca was in a wet and dark clouds filled the sky. It started to sprinkle then it turned heavy and windy. Rebecca was soaked but after a while it cleared up. It smelled like fresh rain just like it came from the clouds. Rebecca slowly walked home. By Rachel
Snowy Mountains Bob went on an adventure to the Snowy Mountains. When he arrived all he could smell were the pigs in a paddock nearby. Bob could see snow all around him. He set up his campsite in the snow. Fred’s campsite was very cold and dark. He had his blow up mattress and tent to sleep in. By Patrick

Skydiving When Bob jumped out of the plane and went sky diving he was sleepy and thought he was dead because he saw a bright light. Then he used the parachute. After that Bob fell asleep and landed. When he landed he woke up from the water. Bob was underwater for 5 minutes and people thought he was dead. A new world record to escape from a parachute underwater. By Maddex
The Skydiver The skydiver had a navy blue jacket with navy blue pants and black boots. While the helicopter was making a lot of noise he grabbed his orange helmet and then he jumped out of the heli-copter and in that moment he felt really sick. By Travis

The Three Snowy Mountains I heard guns as we came running past trees. We got to the riverbed. Steve, Jake and I saw a paddleboat and a yacht. We took the yacht and the hunters took the paddleboat. We got past the riverbed and then we rushed towards the snowy mountain. By Jason

The School Disco was last Wednesday and it was really fun with exciting games, lights and balloons as well as the awesome DJ. Thanks to Ms Boughton, Mrs Hillary and their many helpers. P & C Easter Raffle A HUGE thank you to all the families who sold ckets and
donated items for the Easter Raffle. The Raffle was a great success with lots of yummy goodies going home as prizes. A great effort from everyone, the raffle is only possible thanks to the kind dona ons from our school families. It is very much appreciated. The Easter raffle raised $790.
ANZAC DAY MARCH
All students wishing to par cipate in the Anzac Day March are to assemble at the corner of Dean and Spencer Street at 8.45am. March off is 9am. All schools turn le into Townsend Street (near Drummond Golf) where parents can collect their children. Full winter uniform MUST be worn. The Captains will go with Miss Farmer up to the War Memorial to lay the wreath and parents can collect them from the War Memorial.
