Admonition
I am come that your joy might be full.
Revel in that joy and in HIS love. Be a strong person of faith, real faith without
compromise. Maintain your hope for things unseen but real. But above all, remember
that which abides when all else fails: LOVE
May you know in the great year 2020 that: GOD LOVES YOU.
Love him back with all your heart. Then you will be fully ready, fully equipped to meet
the challenges and opportunities, great as they will be in perhaps the greatest year
ever: 2020.

WMUZ sponsored two fantastic events during the Fall that were huge successes only
because you, our WMUZ-FM & AM, WRDT and WCHB listeners participated.
Amazingly, between only two events, the Apologetics Conference in September, and
the Celebration for Pastor George Bogle and Night Vision in October, over 1000

Spotlight on Program Events
In September, WMUZ hosted the first Apologetics Conference at Hilltop Church featuring
the renowned Bob Dutko of WMUZ and Steve Gregg. Steve is a Bible teacher with a radio
and internet ministry, The Narrow Path, which is on WMUZ 1200 AM Monday – Friday at
5:00 pm.
Nearly 500 people attended the Apologetics Conference which was a huge success. It was a
sold-out event, so if we have another one later this year get your tickets early! In addition to
the outstanding teaching and discussions that day, attendees enjoyed a yummy lunch
provided by WMUZ advertising partner, Angel Food Catering from Belleville, MI.
In late October, nearly 500 listeners joined us in Celebrating Pastor Bogle and over 50 years
of ministry with his radio program Night Vision and pastoring Evangel Ministries. Night
Vision has been faithfully broadcast on WMUZ Radio since the mid 1960’s. The celebration
was held at Christian Tabernacle Church in Southfield. Featured guests who honored Pastor
Bogle included personal friend, Van Thornton, Pastor Chris Brooks (Woodside Bible
Church), Pastor David Alvarez (My Father’s House), Pastor Alex Silva (The Fisherman’s Net),
Pastor Emery Moss (Strictly Biblical Teaching Ministries), Pastor Gary Levi (Shekinah
Temple Assembly of God), and sons Tim and George Bogle Jr.
Once again, Angel Food Catering partnered with us by serving the guests with a delicious
array of appetizers.
Highlighting Other Events
Gordon Chevrolet and Owner, Susan Ianni, a long-time WMUZ advertiser, partnered with
WMUZ for their annual Fall Golf Outing and Silent Auction to raise money and awareness
for House of Providence. The mission of House of Providence is to instill hope in minors who
have only known the intense instability of the foster care system by allowing them to
stabilize and heal in a therapeutic and familial environment.
WMUZ is privileged to support marriages and families. Two incredible events for couples
occurred in October and November.
First, a packed house joined to celebrate Sweetest Day was at “Funny How Things Work”
hosted by Kensington Church in Lake Orion with Dave and Anne Wilson and Comedian,
Michael Jr.
Then in mid-November, the fantastic 2 ½ day Family Life’s “A Weekend To Remember”
couple’s seminar designed to pump up the marriage relationship, was at the Crowne Plaza
Riverfront Detroit. Nearly 700 people attended.
Cuppa Tea...
Tune in to Tea Time Tuesday at Noon on
WCHB 1340 AM Detroit’s Gospel Channel.
(Link to WCHB website) Yes, on Tuesday’s,
you won’t want to miss our lively group, Jay
Sanford, Val Monroe, Reverend Mother,
and Larell Byrd.
Topics range from the latest in trending
culture, to the controversial questions we
all ask as Christians. Nothing is off the table
during this truthful and honest discussion.
Make yourself a note that in October you need to listen for this year’s Weekend To
Remember promotion. We held an online contest through WMUZ’s website and Facebook
and three couples won the complete $350 registration fee for two, and one couple won the
grand prize which included the registration fee plus a Friday and Saturday hotel stay. How
awesome is that! ὠ
