Join us for an unforgettable 2-week adventure CME trek in Nepal which combines cultural sightseeing excursions to temples, museums and monuments, and accommodation experiences at mountain tea lodges and tent camping. The highlight of the trip will be the inauguration ceremony of the Hospital on October 4th, 2020. This will be a remarkable day of celebrations when the long-awaited hospital will open its doors to serve the 30,000 people in the area who previously had no easy access to healthcare.

Who Anyone who can walk uphill at a high altitude (up to 7 hours a day). This trek requires participants to carry a light day pack including water, snacks, and an extra jacket, but heavy duffels will be portered. This trek is a CME course for medical professionals, but is also open to any non-medical outdoor enthusiasts interested in supporting a great cause.

Where Solukhumbu region of Nepal. The trek includes a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, then treks to Phakding, Namche and Tengboche, another flight to the Wongchhu Hospital site – near Chyangba, followed by treks to Bhitakharka and Phaplu before flying back to Kathmandu. During the trek you will enjoy amazing views of central and eastern Himalayas including the peaks of Cho Oyo, Makalu, Lohtse, Kanchenjunga Nuptse, and Everest.
