Greg works alongside many churches as they seek God’s direction toward resurrection and renewal. Pray for our vocational children’s & youth pastors and camp directors as they meet this week for The Summit (Jan. 16-17, Moncton, NB). May this be a time of encouragement and chal-lenge as they minister to the next gen-eration, equip leaders, and inspire young people in their journey of faith. Please pray for protection over their lives and their families, for decisions they need to make, and for energy and balance as they faithfully serve.

CBM PRAYERLINE
RWANDA Leaving this Wednesday for two weeks are a group of 10 women from across Canada, who will travel to Rwanda to serve alongside Rwan-dan and Congolese women. The short-term mission trip is part of CBM’s She Mat-ters campaign, to support women through mu-tual support, encouragement, prayer and min-istry. Please pray for the team as they visit var-ious projects and meet women from all walks of life, having experienced various struggles and hardships. Pray for travelling mercies, for good health, and for an incredible experience of God’s love and light in Rwanda.
INDIA Pray for CBM India Team Leader, Suraj Ko-maravalli, as several meetings took place in the past week with leadership of the Kui Bap-tists, Soura Baptists, and Oriya Baptists. As they plan together for 2017, pray for stronger planning and implementation of projects to maximize impact and resources in the regions, and for good organization and administration as well. Please pray for Suraj and his team, as he manages CBM’s field staff and church part-nerships, and is engaged in a variety of minis-tries including children and youth at risk, food security and community development, and evangelism and church planting. CBM Project Officer Greg Matthews will also be in India this week, so please pray for him as he evaluates CBM projects there and meets with our part-ners.
GEORGIA Please pray for CBM volunteers Jake and Lau-rie Scheffer from First Baptist Church Edmon-ton, who are currently working in the country of Georgia to provide English language training, in order to support the work of the Evangelical Baptist Church in Georgia. For the next month, they will be teaching English to outreach staff that work with children, internally displaced persons, and the impoverished. Gordon Din-woodie will also be joining the Scheffers for the last two weeks to help teach as well. Pray for the church in Georgia, as well as for a suc-cessful teaching period for the Scheffers, and for encouragement and support for the people and community there.
