Pre-Kindergartener Vivian Spraul acted as the Headmaster of School on June 2. Her parents purchased the “Headmaster for a Day” at the annual Gala’s fundraising auction this past March. It was an exciting day for the youngest Headmaster in WPS history. As Headmaster, Vivian allowed all students to wear pink and purple casual clothing instead of their uniforms if they donated $1 to her favorite charity, the Sussex County Habitat for Humanity (She raised $520). Vivian posted “Be an Inspiration” banners throughout the school and invited students to write inspirational messages all over the sidewalks. She met with the school staff, visited classrooms, doubled recess time, treated teachers to donuts, invited friends to her office for a tea party, and hosted a Chick-fil-A lunch and dance party for members of her class.
