Mary Did You Know?This sheet music includes two complete arrangements of the popular contemporaryChristian Christmas song. Both versions are essentially the same; the difference isthat the intermediate version has more accidentals (lever or pedal changes). Feelfree to “mix and match” the versions to meet your own abilities. The two versionscan also be played together as a duet.

Advanced Beginner Arrangement (page 1)The D#s have been left out of the B7 chords in this version. Therefore, the only leverchange is near the end of the piece, for a D# in the melody. You will have almost awhole measure free in the left hand to make this lever change.

Intermediate Arrangement (page 4)This version has more extensive and quicker lever changes, with the D#s included inmany of the B7 chords.

Pedal and Lever ChangesLever changes are indicated two ways in this music. Diamond-shaped notes indicatea lever change. The changes are also written in words between the treble and bassstaves. “Middle D” is the string right above middle C. “High D” is an octave higher.Pedal changes are written below the bottom staff.
