Check Walk-ins and VIPs who arrived during the shift and get a list ready. Discrepancy reports made are dispatched. AFTERNOON SHIFT 1330 HRS-2200 HRS. MAJOR FUNCTIONS Read Reports and Log Book. Check arrival list for special cash instructions. Get evening newspaper list for VIPs ready. Handovers are taken from the previous shift for cash bank and pending works. Check for late night pick/drop request Check Walk ins and VIPs who arrived during the shift and get a list ready.NIGHT SHIFT 2200HRS-0800HRS. MAJOR FUNCTIONS Check log book. Check for remaining on day arrival. Tally all block rooms specially against FIT allotment list. Understand all handovers. Message and parcels to be sorted. Pre-register next days arrival. Key Counter check is performed, to prepare discrepancy report. Prepare and collect night reports and file.WORK SHIFTS Break Shifts or Flextime Shifts:Certain busy hours may require a majority of the staff, for eg. 1000hrs.-1400hrs. & 1600-2000hrs. Compressed Work Schedule:Occurs when an employee works for 40 hrs. in fewer than 5 days, for eg. 12hrs. a day. Job Sharing:When two or three part time employees share the responsibilities of a full time position.
