Welcome to GRUNDFOS PUMPS With an annual production of over 16 million units, Grundfos Pumps is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high quality pumps and pumping systems. The Grundfos Group is represented by more than 80 companies in excess of 55 countries.

HISTORYGrundfos was established in 1945 by founder Poul Due Jensen who started the company out of his shed in Denmark. Since then, Grundfos has grown to be one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high quality pumps and pumping systems with offices in 56 countries and over 19,000 employees across the globe.

Australian operations began in 1980 when a gentleman named Ray Pank was granted the first distribution rights to Grundfos products. Today, our head office in Regency Park, South Australia hosts approximately 90 employees across several business units including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, Finance and Administration. A further 70 employees are situated in Sales Offices around the country.

FINANCIAL STRUCTUREGrundfos prides itself on our unique financial structure set up through The Poul Due Jensen Foundation. The self-governing institution ensures the company is completely financially independent and can never be bought or sold. ONGOING SUPPORTAt Grundfos we believe in encouraging and supporting our employees to reach their full potential by providing development, training and job advancement opportunities. VOLUNTEER LEAVEAll employees of Grundfos Pumps Pty Ltd are entitled to take one day per calendar year of paid volunteering leave to support volunteer activities that enhance and serve the communities in which we live and work.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITYHigh on our agenda is improving the environment by monitoring not only our own carbon footprint, but by proving ongoing support to initiatives such as ‘Caring for Climate’. In 2010, we also launched the employee involvement programme ‘Grundfos Brings Water2Life’. This initiative gives employees an opportunity to make a difference, by means of donations and volunteering, to provide clean drinking water to remote and underprivileged communities.

FAMILY HOURHere at Grundfos Oceania, we appreciate that the majority of our employees spend at least 7.6 hours a day at work, 5 days a week. Add in travel time, leisure activities and sleep, and there isn’t a lot left for quality time with your loved ones!

ANNUAL INCENTIVE SCHEME

If the business is doing well, then rewards flow on to employees. It is possible to earn up to 25% on top of your base salary if national sales targets and individual and team KPI’s are met.

Whilst annual salary increases are not guaranteed, comprehensive reviews are conducted each year which take in to consideration the following:

RAY PANK GRUNDFOS EMPLOYEE TRUST

As the first distributor of Grundfos Pumps in Australia, and a minority shareholder up until 2016, Ray Pank was responsible for the success of our Australian operations. As a result of his success and commitment to employee longevity, satisfaction and development, Mr Pank donated a significant amount of money in 2015 to establish the Ray Pank Grundfos Employee Trust.

As per Mr Pank’s vision, the 50 longest serving employees of Grundfos in Australia receive annual dividends to be used for personal and professional development, health initiatives, welfare, or education that they might not otherwise be able to afford.
