Lek‘s kindergarten started in 1975
• As an adapted building (ex private house)
• It operates as a part of public kindergarten network which ensures
appropriate level of professionalism (40% of children have parents at
Lek)
• Municipality (via parents) is financing curriculum
and minor maintenance works
• Lek provides the building and major maintenance
works
• In 2006 Lek decided to build a new building
according to the latest standards
