Lek‘s kindergarten


Lek‘s kindergarten started in 1975

• As an adapted building (ex private house)

• It operates as a part of public kindergarten network which ensures

appropriate level of professionalism (40% of children have parents at

Lek)

• Municipality (via parents) is financing curriculum

and minor maintenance works

• Lek provides the building and major maintenance

works

• In 2006 Lek decided to build a new building

according to the latest standards

Long-term Public-Private-Partnership


• Children and staff have moved to kindergarten at the beginning of 2008

• Approx. 500 m2 of useful surface

• Three age groups of children (more than 50 kids)

• Three spacious rooms + gym, fine arts classroom

and spacious playground

• Appropriate premises for the staff
