Ergonomics• Ergonomic design is the application of body

knowledge to the design of tools, machines and environments for safe effective human use.

• Besides computer hardware, ergonomics also encompasses air quality, room temperature, work environment cleanliness and office furniture.

• All of these elements can and often do affect a person's ability to do their job safely, productively and well.
