With globally renowned experts and true ‘Education Rock Stars’ participating in two highly informative Forums, special activities around creativity and fun aspects in education and a rst-hand showcase dedicated to vocational education and training at the Skills for the Future Showcase, Worlddidac Asia 2015 is turning Hong Kong into a epicentre for education development for the entire region. The 6th edition will hold the theme Towards Becoming a Center of Excellence and will feature ministerial keynotes as well as 46 globally recognized and regional inspiring speakers from 11 countries under a highly interactive and interesting new format which oer thought provoking discussions in 3 categories. Particularly for schools and educators from the region, the 1st Education Partnership Forum (EPF) is a dedicated platform to promote the growing value of school partnerships and the importance of collaboration in education. The Forum will discuss best practices in cross-school, cross-level and cross border collaboration and provide a neutral stage that encourages partnerships between schools and universities from the region. Highlights include former Prime Minister of Australia Julia Gillard, Secretary for Education of Hong Kong SAR, Mr. Eddie Ng, as well as TED speakers and renowned book authors. Visitors joining Worlddidac Asia 2015can experience a first-hand showcasededicated to youth skills in a special environmentcalled the Skills for the Future Showcase.The brightest students in mechatronics fromHong Kong, China Mainland, Taiwan and Macao,all training for the WorldSkills competition in Brazil,will compete against each other in this highlyinteresting skills discipline right in front of thevisitors. Throughout the day, competitors andexperts will inform the public about themechatronics discipline.

Daily music performances fromthe German Swiss InternationalSchool and La Salle Collegefrom Hong Kong await you atthe beginning of the morningconference sessions and roundsoff a busy exhibition andconference day at 4.30pm.

Engineering students ofthe Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education(IVE) come to Worlddidac Asia with theirsolar-powered car SOPHIE, a project thatclinched the 3rd runner up in the World SolarChallenge 2013 in Australia. Worlddidac Asia presents opinionleaders from Southeast Asia, Hong Kongand China the many positive opportunitiesof game-based learning througha dedicated pavilion.
