LAW AND GRACE

After Moses, the Israelites lived by the Law that was passed through him. When Jesus Christ died on the cross, Grace became a blessing and a key aspect of Christian living for all who believed in him, saved by the Grace of Christ.in and through our lives. Ps Daniel Tong returns to The Meeting Place, this time to help us think a little deeper about this ever stimulating topic. Saved by the Grace of Christ:

Must we still obey the Law?

What is the purpose of the Law, to condemn?

May Law and Grace, both of which being of God, co-exist, and if so, how are we to understand the relationship between them?

These are some of the questions we will explore so to better manifest the biblical understanding of the Law and Grace of God in and through our lives. A graduate of Trinity Theological College, Daniel Tong has been a priest of the Anglican Diocese of Singapore since 1993. He has been researching and teaching about Chinese beliefs and practices for over 20 years. A father of three children, Daniel is currently Vicar of the St Andrew’s Community Chapel. He is also the author of the best-selling title A Biblical Approach to Chinese Traditions & Beliefs.

Come join us for this talk on 17 July 2017 @2pm in Daniel Room
