FAQsWDA has been issuing hardcopy certificates to Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) trainees since 2005. The certificate issuance process is now made faster, more convenient and efficient with the new electronic certificate (e-Cert) system.

1 When can I receive my e-Cert?

You will receive a notification to download your e-Cert via www.skillsconnect.gov.sg two days after your training organisation has uploaded your assessment result.

2 If I left the company that sent me for the WSQ course, what will happen to my e-Cert?

Your e-Cert will remain available in your account on SkillsConnect, accessible via your SingPass login.

3 How can I access my e-Certs if I do not have a SingPass?

You can check if you are eligible for SINGPASS and apply for SINGPASS using online request at https://www.singpass.gov.sg/sppubsvc/req1.html or approach Community Centres, CPF Woodlands Service Centre and Land Transport Authority. With the SingPass, you can access your e-Certs online.

Alternatively, you can approach your training organisations to download or print the e-Certs for you.

4 I cannot download my e-Cert. Why does the system prompt me for password when I try to download my e-cert?

You would need to use Adobe Reader of at least version 10 or newer to download e-Certs. If you do not have Adobe Reader, you can download it for free at http://get.adobe.com/reader/

5 Will my past WSQ certificates be converted to e-Cert?

You will find e-Certs for the WSQ courses that your training organisations have uploaded / requested for e-Cert issuance. Please check with the training organisations where you attended the respective courses if you have any enquiry.

6 How can I verify my e-Cert?

Anyone can verify the authenticity of e-Certs at https://e-cert.wda.gov.sg with the trainee’s identification number and e-Cert serial number.

7 Are WSQ e-Certs recognised by employers and licensing agencies?

WSQ e-Certs are as recognised by employers and licensing agencies, just like the hardcopy WSQ Statement of Attainments/certificates. They can also verify the authenticity of e-Certs at https://e-cert.wda.gov.sg.

1 Go to the SkillsConnect (SCN) website at www.skillsconnect.gov.sg.

2 Click the SingPass icon to login via SingPass.

2 To view courses attended, click the dropdown list and click “Course Attended”.

4 To view qualifications attained, click the dropdown list and click “Qualifications Attained”.
