Very often the child does not Ret home from work till 9 or10 o'clock in the evening. The other children, on accountof not having sufficient clothes to wear, have to stay luime from school.Can you picture it? A family of seven all gathered together in oneroom with only a few rickety pieces of furniture in it. The townofficials not long ago sent them a half ton of coal and every mnnthfhey receive $16 worth of groceries. Needless' to say that before thethonth is up the family have eaten up the groceries and must fast untilthe first of the month comes around. How many of you- who read thiscan exist for a month or even a week on this amount?
