Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) EngineerThe Condition Based Monitoring Engineer will support the MaintenanceDepartment to ensure machinery is readily available to meet operationalrequirements in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. The successfulcandidate will provide a service to monitor and advise through trouble-shooting and problem solving, on equipment condition and ultimately thereliability of the Terminal assets.

You should have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and strongexperience of CBM Technologies within the Oil and Gas Industry. Knowledgeand experience of machinery vibration standards (ISO standards), on-line andoff-line vibration monitoring systems, lubrication management, instrumentationand data processing techniques is essential, while Supervisory experiencewould be beneficial.

PUBLIC AUDIT (WALES) ACT 2004 – SECTION 26(4)In accordance with Section 26(4) of the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004, Pembrokeshire CountyCouncil, having considered at an Extraordinary Meeting of the Council on 14 February 2014, aReport in the Public Interest issued by the Appointed Auditor in relation to Senior Officers` Payand Pensions, is required to publish in a local newspaper circulating in its area, a writtensummary of the decisions made by the Council in response to the Report or itsRecommendations.The four Recommendations contained in the Report were:1. The Council should rescind the decision and withdraw the current option for

senior staff, stopping any future payments.2. If the Council decides to take a new, lawful decision it must address the procedural

weaknesses identified in this report and ensure that it demonstrates lawful exerciseof discretion in setting reasonable remuneration and its responsibilities under thePublic Sector Equality Duty.

3. The Council should, if payments are to be lawfully made in the future, clearlydemonstrate that the amount paid complies with any Senior Staff Committeedecision.

4. The Council should make an appropriate disclosure in the 2012-13 financialstatements and arrange for the Corporate Governance Committee to re-approvethe financial statements.

Having considered the Report and its Recommendations, the Council resolved to receive theReport and to accept its four Recommendations, acknowledging that withdrawing the optionfor senior staff and stopping any future payments creates contractual issues.

Red flags (Red lights by night) will be displayed whenever the Range is active.

UNAUTHORISED ACCESS

WARNING - During non-firing times, the Range Danger Area is patrolledby serving military staff and in addition, troops under training arebriefed to challenge any civilians they see on the range.

The MoD will not tolerate unauthorised access within the danger areaand appropriate action will be taken using both civilian and MoD policeforces.
