Allen wrench. Nut is Left Hand thread.

    B) SHARPENING SHAFT (Fig. 8A)(i) To remove push against Sharpening Stone

end and remove E Clip (Fig. 8C).

    C) DEBURRING STONE(i) To remove use 10mm wrench and 3mm

Allen wrench. Nut is Left Hand thread.(ii) If side of Deburring Stone hits Knife place

Shim (0.5mm 3275-00238, 1.0mm 3275-00237) under Deburring Stone. Usethinnest Shim possible to ensure propersharpening.

    D) DEBURRING FRAME (Fig. 8L)(i) To remove push Deburring Frame (Fig.

8L) against Spring (Fig. 8K) and removeE Clip (Fig. 8M).

(ii) Remove the shaft while holding Spring (Fig. 8K).(iii) Before reassembling Deburring Frame into Sharpener Frame, ensure Stone Shaft

(Fig. 8D) is installed with Deburring Frame (Fig. 8L)(iv) Set Spring (Fig. 8K) in place and push the Shaft (Fig. 8H) through the spring and both

mounting holes in the Sharpener Frame.(v) Use needle nose pliers to compress Spring (Fig. 8K) and Shaft (Fig. 8H) by towards

back of Sharpener Frame.(vi) Insert Deburring Frame (Fig. 8L) over end of Shaft (Fig. 8H) while placing Tab

(Fig. 8N) under Lip (Fig. 8O) on Sharpener Frame.(vii) Release Spring (Fig. 8K) and Shaft (Fig. 8H) and push Shaft (Fig. 8H) through

Deburring Frame and hole in Sharpener Frame.(viii) Push the Deburring Frame (Fig. 8L) against the Spring (Fig. 8K) while moving the

Shaft (Fig. 8H) to expose the groove on Shaft (Fig. 8H) and install E Clip (Fig. 8M)

    6) INDEX/CONTROL

    A) Remove Knife (19mm wrench).B) Remove Gauge Plate by removing Mounting Bolt (Fig. 9D).C) Disconnect Clevis (Fig. 12B) from Interlock Rod (Fig. 12A).D) Unplug Upper PCB Wire Harness from Control Board.E) Remove Knife Motor see Knife Motor.F) Remove five Mounting Bolts holding Upper Housing to Slicer Base.G) Remove 6 Screws (Fig. 11) holding Upper Housing Assembly together and separate halves.H) Remove Index Assembly (Fig. 14).

    (i) Spring Washer (Fig. 10B) may or may not have been used.(ii) Index Cam (Fig. 10C) is held into Support Arm (Fig. 10D) by a press fit Pin (Fig. 10E).(iii) If Index Cam has to be removed screw 4mm Bolt into the end of Pin (Fig. 10E) and pull out.(iv) Remove one Sleeve Bushing (Fig 10F) if Index Cam (Fig. 10C) must be remove from

Support Arm (Fig. 10D).I) Reassemble in reverse order.

    7) AUTO SECTION X13A & X13AE Models Only

    A) Remove Wire Ribbon Cable (Fig. 13A) between AutomaticAssembly and Carriage (Fig. 14).

    B) Remove six Mounting Screws (Fig. 13B,C, D) securing AutoAssy to Base.

    C) When replacing belts use hand pressure only to tighten.D) The motor belt is tightened by rotating motor then tightening

the motor mounting screws (Fig. 13E). Pulling on IdlerPulley (Fig. 13F) tighten Mounting Screws which tightensCarriage Belt.

    E) Carriage Knob (Fig.14A) locks Auto Clip (Fig. 14B) ontoDrive Belt. Circuit Board (Fig. 14C) has three Hall Effectswitches which are activated by magnet on Auto Clip (Fig.14B).
