YPS invited to sing at Surfing The Coldstream

The Surfing the Coldstream music festival has invited the children of Y.P.S. to sing at this year's

festival. Early this term Ryan Enns will be coming to

school to teach the kids for fun and simple songs for them to sing along with students from four

other schools. The festival will take place on Saturday, October

17th at Flinders park above Main Beach in Yamba. Parents are asked to accompany their children to the festival from 3-4:15 pm. Please be near the Main Stage during the Coldstream

Community Showcase so the students are ready to jump up when Ryan calls them to sing. Don't forget to wear your school uniform!

Watch this space for more info.

Congratulations to Paige and Sophie who recently competed in the Premier’s Spelling

Bee. Both girls did extremely well with Sophie winning. This means she is off to Sydney this term to compete in the state finals. We are very proud of Sophie as this is the first time

we have had anyone make it to this level. We wish her all the best.

There were many medals brought home from the Jujitsu Championships that were held at the Gold Coast over

the school holidays. Well done boys!
