EEEExecutive Summaryxecutive Summaryxecutive Summaryxecutive Summary
In 1988, Yanez Construction, Co. was formed. During the past few years, the company has positioned itself as a
well-recognized builder in the Imperial Valley area emphasizing in the development of the Calexico City community at large. In 2001, Yanez Construction, Co.
changed its legal name to Yanez Engineering (YE).
The principle purpose of operation of the company is
to provide home and business owners with construction projects. Our projects will use high quality materials and superb engineering standards sold at affordable prices.
Now, YE is at a point where it is entering into a phase
that is projected to increase its building capacity by 50%
and increase sales by 100%. By attracting new members into the organization such special consultants and investors, YE will be in a better position to manage larger
and more complicated construction projects.
Our mission statement is as follows:
Provide customers with high-quality construction
projects where we can be proud of their integrity, which meet budget and scheduled goals, always remembering that each customer may be a tremendous source of referral business to our company.
Target Market The typical customer profile for the company falls into
six separate categories:
______________________________________________________________________
4
1. Business owners or entrepreneurs who want to expand their facilities or create new ones.
2. Individuals and families who wish to improve their lifestyles by moving into newer neighborhoods.
3. Consumers who wish to move from rental properties to owning their residences.
4. Investors who need a contractor or construction management service for their construction investment.
5. Households with an annual income of $60,000 and up.
Objectives Our objective, at this time, is to propel the company
into a prominent market position. We feel that within five
years YE will be in a suitable condition to expand our organization into construction projects situated out of our local market. To accomplish this goal, we have developed
a comprehensive plan to intensify and accelerate our marketing activities, project development, engineering and customer service. To implement our plans we are
attracting new members into our organization, which will contribute with experience and equity.
Primary Goal: YE’s extensive experience in the construction industry positions itself to continue bidding both residential and commercial projects. YE will keep
operating expenses extremely low by employing its own construction force therefore; limiting the amount of
subcontracting required to complete projects.
______________________________________________________________________
5
Management Our management team is comprised of individuals
whose backgrounds consist of many years of corporate development with major organizations, as well as over 20 years of sales and engineering within the construction
industry.
Marketing
Conservative estimates suggest YE market share, with
our intensified and accelerated marketing plan, development, construction, and customer service, would be about fifteen percent (15%) of the County of Imperial.
The fundamental thrust of our marketing strategy
consists of printed advertising, and walking customers
through our projects on construction. Printed advertising on present projects has been the most successful marketing methods for YE based in past project
experience.
Some of the prospective clients will be based on personal references. YE enjoy an established track record of excellent support to our customers. Their expressions of
satisfaction and encouragement are numerous, and we intend to continue our advances in the marketplace with more unique and instrumental offers.
______________________________________________________________________
6
Finance In five years we will have reached our stated goals
and objectives, creating enough equity to be able to move to the next phase. Operate in and out of the local market exploring bigger projects opportunities is part of our main
goal.
