he Youth Encounter is a Scripture-based formation

program that seeks to form the youth intocommunity-builders for the Church and society. It is an

examination of ones basic relationship with God, others,

oneself and ones life situation, leading to a deeper

commitment in ones family, group, school and parish.

The Y.E. insists that the young get to know and accept

themselves and their situation. It brings young people

closer to one another and offers different experiences of

prayer in order to give the young a taste of Gods presence.

Finally, the Y.E. places emphasis on the participation of the

young in the life of the Church, encouraging the young to

get involved in their dioceses and parishes.

WHAT IS YE?

WHAT ARE ITS OBJECTIVES?

The Y.E. aims for the following:

self-acceptance

interpersonal relationships and community-building

man and woman the spirituality or growing

relationship between God and man.

WHO CAN JOIN?

REQUIREMENTS

All Baptized and Confirmed Catholic youth aged 15-21

years old are eligible to join the Youth Encounter.
