Learning To Be: GoalsLearning Focus: Literacy Goal BookTask: It is important that we assign time to work on our goals. Today, choose one of your LITERACY goals to practice. That means either your reading or writing goal.As you practice, be sure to keep evidence of your goal to add to your book. For example if your Reading goal is to recognise text features of different texts, today youmight spend some time reading some non-fiction books on Epic. After reading the book you can write a list of the different text features and page numbers. You couldinclude: contents page, diagrams, glossary. You would then take a photo of your findings and insert this on to the next page after your goal in your Literacy Goal book.

Investigations: Solid, liquids and gasLearning Focus: Combining a solid and liquid to produce a gas.

Task: Follow these instructions to complete this experiment: you will need to have from your pantry cupboard vinegar and bi-carb soda, a balloon and a plastic waterbottle. Use the worksheet in your resources to explain what happened when the bi-carb went into the vinegar. Predict what is going to happen when you place theballoon on the bottle. Write down what actually happened to the balloon, explain why you think this happened and what you learnt by doing this experiment.

THIS TASK MUST BE SENT TO ME ON XUNO, IT WILL

HELP ME TO WRITE REPORTS.

Choose one character from the list:

PIRATE BABY WIZARD

SUPERHERO FIREFIGHTER PRINCESS

ALIEN CHEF FARMER

Choose one setting:

IN THE JUNGLE ON THE MOON AT

MCDONALDS ON A BOAT

AT THE ZOO UNDER THE SEA IN A

Choose one emotion:

SAD HAPPY SCARED ANGRY

TIRED EXCITED

Act out the character, in the setting, feeling the

emotion. Remember to think about your voice and

your face, as well as what the character might say. It

would be funny to combine a character with a place

they would not normally be in (for example, an alien
