We acknowledge that the land on which we

gather was first cared for by the people of

Quandamooka Country. Yura means welcome.

We pay respect to the traditional owners and

custodians who have walked this land for longer

than recorded history.

May our spirits grow strong together as one.

60TH ANNIVERSARY PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

We give thanks for the Oblates and the entire community who forged Iona

College into existence to serve local needs in the Archdiocese for the past sixty

years.

Like those who have gone before us,

fill our souls with your compassion for others,

fire our hearts with your courage and infinite love,

bring us health in body and spirit,

that we may serve you with all our strength,

so that all may live, learn, lead and serve in the Oblate spirit.

Touch gently our lives, which you have created,

now and forever.

Amen.

Having our students arrive and go home safely every day is an absolute priority.

• Students should not cross roads to be picked up.

• The peak time for pick-up passes very quickly. If you are able to pick your son up after 3.25pm, the traffic moves very well and you will experience only slight delays.
