KITCHEN SAFETY/RULES No running in the kitchen - you may fall over or bump someone
Always wear your hair up - it may get caught in a mixer or catch alight
Enclosed shoes must be worn - for hot and sharp objects
Always wear an apron - to add an extra layer and protect clothing

Washing hands - use hot soapy water for at-least 30 seconds
how do we dry our hands?
Personal hygiene - wear clean clothing, ensure you are not sick, ensure you are clean
clean as you go, have a sink of hot soapy water ready to go before you cook

always use a chopping board - protects the bench and knives
always use a sharp knife - how do you sharpen a knife?
use the correct knife for the correct procedure - list the types of knives found in the kitchen and their use
