ing Company that was established by Mr. Yek Lai Fatt on May 19, 2014, is

offering expert services in construction procurement, management and

construction costing services. Our services are specific to our clients'

needs and are proactive. providing clients with a good value-for-money

service . With a commitment to beat deadlines and fully qualified staff, the

service is intended to improve the performance of the Client.

We procure and deliver projects within very strict cost limits, bringing val-

ue to all projects, from the most straightforward to the most complex. Our

innovative and bespoke procedures offer projections and monitored out-

comes which result in total control, value for money and consistent, relia-

ble commercial data which protect our client investment. All services are

provided by a Quantity Surveyor and Director of the Company.

The firm's Quantity Surveyor specialists are an integral part of the design

and project management team on projects of all sizes and levels of com-

plexity.

Mr. Yek is currently the Principal Consultant and Founding Presi-

dent of YLF Contracts and Costs Solutions, Inc. He has done numer-

ous building and infrastructure projects locally and overseas, and

has served many high profile projects for very discriminating cli-

ents. Lai Fatt is also involved a lot of project in Philippine since he

started his career with RLB Philippine in year 2008 and promoted to

Special Project Division Head, and handling all the special, unique

and mega project within RLB Philippines. He has been involved in

several Shangri- La projects among which includes a Mixed-Use

Development in Fort Bonifacio, One Shang Place, Renovation of Ex-

isting Shangri-La Mall in Mandaluyong City, Renovation of Mactan

Tower, Atrium Wing, Ballroom and Function Rooms of Shangri-la

Mactan in Cebu, and various Renovation and Refurbishment works for Makati Shangri-La Hotel

(Makati City), and Shangri-La Boracay (Boracay, Aklan), added to the list is Manila Bay Resorts

and the first LEED certified gold project in Philippine, Johnson & Johnson offices,

Over the years in his career of professional quantity surveying, he has been actively involved in

power plant, highway, airport, oil and gas, petrochemical plant, off-shore piping, and barges &

shipbuilding.

Followings are the key & signature project in his career outside Philippines:

1. Butanediol Petrochemical Plant for BASF – Petronas Chemical (Electrical and Instrumental

Works) - USD 1.2 Billion Project

He served as Commercial Manager for Kenz Mepz, managing the contract administration of sub-

contracting work of electrical and instrumentation works.

2. Centralised Utility Facilities for Petronas Gas Berhad - this is a EPC project by Foster Wheeler,

comprise of gas turbine generator, heat recovery steam generator, denim water, effluent treat-

ment plant, cooling water tower, air separation unit. - USD 3.0 Billion

He served as Contract and Quantity Surveying specialist, to undertake the full

quantity surveying services, due diligent, contract administration and final ac-

count for the project

3. Kuala Lumpur - Putrajaya Elevated Highway Project - USD 300m

He served as Contract Administrator for Leighton Contractor Malaysia, He was

actively participate in value engineering and alternative proposal to bring down

the overall cost of the project and made significant contribution to the project.

Cost Management, Recording and Planning Establishment of systems and preparation of reports prior to and throughout the construction

period to enable budgets to be followed or adjusted to accommodate change/variation orders.

Cost recording on cost reimbursement contracts. Preparation of monthly progress evaluations

and forecasts of final cost.

Services for Contractors & Clients Estimating, tender advice and documentation, contract documentation, construction auditing,

administration of sub contractors, post contract cost management, re‐measurement and final ac-count preparation. Analysis of Bid‐Tender Documents for Turn‐Key Projects Assistance to contractors in bidding including scheduling and resourcing labour, plant and ma-

terials and preparation of bills of quantities or other forms of quantification. Investigation of local

costs, construction methods and logistical problems.
