The Tampa Bay Area Chapter of NIGP is hosting its Annual Reverse Trade Show.
This event affords suppliers the opportunity to demonstrate their products and services and
allows you the chance to educate suppliers on how to do business with your agency.
In an effort to encourage maximum supplier attendance and for this event to be a success,
it is important that representatives from all TBAC NIGP member agencies partici-
pate. Please register on-line at the Chapter website TODAY!
Our goal is to have a minimum of 25 agencies registered to participate by the opening date
of supplier registration on March 1, 2020.

Participating entities will set-up and staff a table during the Trade Show hours of
9:30 AM to 12:30 PM with purchasing professionals, contract administrators, small
business development personnel and others from their agency who are knowl-
edgeable about their agency’s procurement activities and processes.
Set up will be from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM the morning of the Trade Show. Please
plan to arrive no later than 8:00 AM so that set-up is completed before doors
open to suppliers at 9:30 AM for registration. Continental breakfast will be served
at 8:30 AM.
The theme for the event is “Partner-ship” and some decorations will be provided by
TBAC. We encourage entities to bring table covers, posters, backdrops, floor stand
banners and other items that will make their table easily identifiable for attendees.
TBAC is extending this invitation to all public entities in the Tampa Bay Area. With
your help we can make this a truly productive time of sharing and connecting with
Tampa Bay suppliers as we promote our entities and educate them on how to do
business with government.
Your attendance is vital in promoting the Reverse Trade Show and in making it a

This trade show is an important component in our annual fund raising efforts
that support the TBAC scholarship program, UPPCC certification, professional
development and educational development opportunities for TBAC members.
TBAC is a part of NIGP the Insti-
tute for Public Procurement a pro-fessional organization dedicat-ed to developing, supporting and promoting the public pro-curement profession since 1944.
A Reverse Trade Show (RTS) is an event
that allows suppliers, consultants, contrac-
tors, and other company reps the opportuni-
ty to meet with procurement professionals
from numerous government agencies over
the course of several hours, all in one loca-
tion. The government agencies are the ex-
hibitors and suppliers small and large, wish-
ing to do business with government are the
attendees. Suppliers move from table to ta-
ble on the Trade Show floor talking to gov-
ernment agencies about their needs, pro-
curement opportunities, regulations and oth-
er requirements, and providing agencies
