Auditions for the October Agatha Christie mystery at the Royal are August 22 at 1 p.m. and

August 23 at 6 p.m. Production dates are October 8-18. This play is under the direction of

Frank O. Butler. Cold readings from the script.

The Little Mermaid Jr.

The Young Players will present Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. Aug. 6-9 at The Royal Thea-tre in Benton, 111 S. Market St., in Benton.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Aug. 6-8 and 2 p.m. on Aug. 8-9. Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for students. Tickets can be reserved online at theroyalplay-ers.ticketleap.com. For phone reservations, call (501) 315-5483.

The show features a lively cast of more than 30 young actors under the direction of Lisa Goodrich, with musical direction by Jo Murry, choreography by Stacy Hawking, and produc-tion by Melissa Glover and Tracy Courage.

The young and the young at heart will enjoy this classic Disney tale of the curious Princess Ariel who trades her beautiful voice for legs so that she may follow her heart ashore and find her prince. The musical score include favorites "Under the Sea," "Part of your World," "Kiss the Girl" and many more.

The show runs about one hour and has a short intermission.

The Murder At The Masquerade Mystery Dinner will be Civitan

versary season. Plans are being made for 2015–

2016. Plays will be new or “new to you.” Most

are well-known, but they’ve not been done by

Royal Players.
