Victoria Hotel Weddings & Events Terms & Conditions

All bookings are accepted subject to the terms and conditions set out by the Hotel and these will apply to all events held at The Victoria Hotel.

Provisional BookingsProvisional Bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days, unless confirmation of the booking in writing, together with the deposit is received within this period, otherwise the provisional booking will lapse.

DepositA non-refundable deposit of £500 is required to secure the date, with a further£500 (non-refundable), payable 8 weeks after the initial deposit.Please note that when deposits/ payments are not paid in full by the due date The Victoria Hotel reserves the right to cancel the event.

PaymentThe final balance will be required 4 weeks prior to the function.

Insurance You are recommended to take out insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

AccommodationAll 16 rooms for a minimum of two nights on weekends must be booked by the wedding party (Friday, Saturday or Sunday). We can be flexible for ‘Ceremony Only’ and mid week weddings depending on the time of year.

Cancellation PolicyThese calculations take into account the losses incurred and potential losses due to declining other bookings at the time you booked.

12 Weeks prior to the event: 50% of the gross event value8 Weeks prior to the event: 75% of the gross event value4 Weeks prior to the event: 100% of the gross event value
