Whether this is the first time you’ve heard of Victoria Hall or we’ve been part of your life for years, we’re delighted for you both. Congratulations and enjoy the planning, it can be a lot of fun!

Fast-forward a few months and imagine your wedding day.

The anticipation of getting ready that morning. Leaving the house or hotel, knowing when you return, you’ll have started the next chapter of your life.

Imagine standing in front of your friends and family and saying the words that bind your love for each other.

Afterwards, a few stolen moments together then onto an afternoon of congratulations, laughter, great food and shared memories.

Put simply, we’d love to be the canvas you choose for that day.

Victoria Hall is a gorgeous 19th century Grade II* listed venue in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire.

It’s a beautiful building in a very special village, with stunning rooms, pretty front gardens and lots of great locations nearby for photographs.

It sounds a cliché but each wedding is unique, and we look forward to making yours a reality.

With your own wedding coordinator and our outstanding team with you every step of the way, we’ll help you create the wedding you’ll adore.

A pretty special venue for a very special dayWe’re aiming to whet your appetite

A brochure is never going to give you the feeling you get when you walk into the Main Hall or our other wonderful, ornate rooms.

But let’s introduce you to the venue and, if you haven’t already, we’ll tempt you to come to visit us and say hello.

We’ve a variety of rooms so can host weddings for a handful of guests, to sit-down meals for 180 people with evening receptions for 350, and everything in between.

DoWNsTAIrs: Main Hall & Evans Room The ground floor rooms are ideal for weddings of 100-180 guests.

The grand Main Hall really is a show stopper, we hear ‘oh, wow’ quite a lot. With its gorgeous architecture, it has a wonderful old balcony, stage, kitchenette, in-house bar and plenty of space for dining and dancing.

Next door, the Evans room is bright and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking our front gardens. It’s often used for welcome receptions and for tea and cake.

UPsTAIrs: York room, Glen room & Dale room The first floor is ideal for weddings of up to 100 guests.

The York room is the largest room, bright and spacious with lovely views across saltaire, and is often used for wedding breakfasts & evening celebrations.

The Glen room is very pretty with tall windows and stunning views - we’re regularly told it’s people’s favourite. It’s often used for wedding ceremonies or reception drinks.

The Dale room sits snugly in between the other rooms, and whilst a lovely little room in its own right, it’s very handy as a catering prep area for first floor weddings!

A venue bar is also available on the first floor.

CErEMoNIEs Yes, we are licensed for wedding ceremonies!

rECoMMENDED sUPPLIErs We’ve pulled together some fantastic suppliers from across Yorkshire to help and inspire you.

They’ve been chosen for their excellent products and brilliant customer service*.

BAr our in-house bar has a wide range of drinks, including real ale (we know how important that is!) and we always try to meet specific requests.

Your package includes a substantial reduction on bottles of wine and bubbly arranged in advance, if you’d like to treat your guests.

AV Your package includes AV for speeches and background music; ask us for details.

PArKING Alas, when sir Titus salt built saltaire, he didn’t bless us with our own car park, but there are a variety of parking options nearby – you’ll find more details on our website.

ACCoMoDATIoN We have an arrangement with a fabulous nearby hotel, with discounts on block bookings.

INsPIrATIoN As well as a thriving Pinterest board (VicHallsaltaire) to inspire you, we’re always adding new photos and case studies to our website.

Visiting Victoria HallGETTING HErE Getting here is easy. saltaire is 15 minutes away from Leeds and Bradford by train, and a short drive from the M62. regular buses run in the area.

Please ask us for parking information if needed.

ACCEssIBILITY All floors are accessible by a lift, with flat level access to toilets on the ground and first floors.

THE sALT FoUNDATIoN Victoria Hall is owned by the salt Foundation, a charitable trust who look after the venue as an integral part of the UNEsCo World Heritage site of saltaire.

All income and donations go directly into running and maintaining Victoria Hall, ensuring it for future generations.
