Boundary Waters Canoe Area
Wilderness, to strengthen
faith, to develop an
appreciation of God’s
creation, and to grow Christ-
Centered communities. With
the direction of a Wilderness
Canoe Base guide and a
parent chaperone, you will
spend a week paddling,
portaging, and camping
throughout the Boundary
Waters Canoe Area
Wilderness (BWCAW), all
while building deeper
relationships with those on
Canoe Trip
The BWCAW is a unique and pristine
sanctuary, home to moose, black bear,
loon, gorgeous lakes, and waterfalls, and
brilliant sunsets. Canoe Trips offer an
unparalleled opportunity to enjoy the
untouched wilderness and to live simply
and intentionally as a community.
Wilderness Canoe Base, part of the Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp association, is on two scenic islands, about an hour’s drive up the Gunflint Trail, past Grand Marais.
Canoe trip cost is $505. A deposit of $100 is due upon
registration. The balance due by July 1, 2019.
