The second payment for both trips is due by October 15. The final payment is due by November 26. The amount owed for second and final payment is different for each person because it depends on how much money you have earned through fundraisers and if you are skiing, snowboarding, or bringing your own equipment. If this is your first time skiing or snowboarding, you are required to take lessons (additional charge).

For questions regarding the Winterplace Ski Trip, please contact Austin Bond at [email protected] or 843.798.0222 (cell). There will not be a trip to Snowshoe in 2018. REMEMBER PARTIAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR THE SKI RETREAT IF NEEDED!

Parents new to our youth ministry or who just want to learn more about our youth ministry are invited to a New Parent Meeting on Sunday, August 20, at 10 AM in the FLC's Small Dining Room. If you have a child who has been involved with our youth programs for years and know the ropes, this meeting is not designed for you, but of course you are always welcome to attend! Please bring your insurance card with you to complete paperwork.

2017-2018 Confirmation Orientation The orientation session for the next Confirmation Class (6th grade youth) and parents will be held Sunday, September 10, at 10 AM in the Family Life Center's Small Dining Room.

If you are interested in attending a FREE College Admissions Workshop (8th-12th graders) hosted by Chris Parsons (a member of Belin) on Sunday, August 27, 5 PM - 7 PM, please sign up by contacting him at [email protected] or 843.442.9222. Chris can help with scholarships, financial aid, getting into a specific college, etc. He is here to help you!

Salkehatchie Sunday & Middle/High School Mission Trip Sunday is scheduled for Sunday, August 27. If you attended one of these mission trips and are willing to share briefly about your experience, please contact Austin Bond soon.

If you would like to raise money for any upcoming youth trip (ski retreat, mission trips, Confirmation Retreat, Salkehatchie, etc.), the 2018 edition of the "Attractions Dining and Value Guide" is now available (coupons last until December 2018)! It is full of some incredible coupons and will be an easy sell. Sell whatever you can ($20 each) and whatever you don't sell just return with no money lost! For each guide you sell, $10 goes to the trip of your choice. If you are interested in participating in this fundraiser, please contact Linda Lee Powalie or Austin Bond when you are on your way to pick up your books. Contact info is located at the end of this e-mail.

Don't miss this opportunity to make money toward upcoming youth retreats! It is especially important to sell these books before other organizations start selling them.
