YOUTH OF YESTERDAY On July 12, 2014 an event was planned for

elders of Mattagami First Nation and Gogama The goal of the event was to provide a

gathering for residents aged 55+ an opportunity to socialize with each other

A supper & dance was hosted in Mattagami 75 people attended the event Sponsorship was provided by Mattagami First

Nation, IAMGOLD, and Wabun Health Services An organizer and a group of volunteers, two

high school & a few elementary students helped during the event or with decorating

I sincerely hope that this event provided a great experience, a social venue, and most of all I hope it provided smiles, laughter and fun!
