WHERE COMPARISONS END, RESULTS BEGIN.

At Zehnder, we’re more than the sum of our parts. Founded in 1996 under the premise that great creative and brilliant

strategy need not be mutually exclusive, and we have since operated everyday with one simple, yet profound principle:

Be dedicated to our craft, but don’t take ourselves too seriously. That said, we are a talented and inspired team of artists,

thinkers, and strategists working hard to produce vibrant and sustainable results for a variety of clients. We’re musicians,

explorers, athletes, novelists, and techies. When combined, our personal pathways and passions afford us a distinct

understanding of what it means to communicate. This true union of right- and left-brain thinking led to enviable growth.

In addition to our original location in New Orleans, we now have offices in Baton Rouge and Nashville. Today, we are a

flourishing 70+ member team grateful for our continued success, yet enthusiastic about the future.

THERE’S A CREATIVE DIFFERENCE.

The way we see it, every client is an opportunity to do great work. And the work we’re known for is as inspired as it is

disciplined. Be it print ads, collateral pieces, TV spots, websites or logos, our work has been recognized all over the

world for its creative merit and ability to connect and engage audiences in unique ways; solidly establishing Zehnder as a

notoriously sharp, versatile, imaginative, and results-focused agency. That said, though, it’s not about the awards, rather,

it’s about the dogged pursuit of a crystal-clear strategy and pitch-perfect execution — it’s about results. And when it comes

to results, no one is as competitive as Zehnder. What makes us valuable to our clients is our superior idea generation and

innovation. Discovering new ways to persuade and compel — it’s essentially what defines us. And it dictates which in our

industry will survive. That’s it.

ZEHNDER COMMUNICATIONS

GOOD LISTENERS. GREAT RESULTS.

No department embodies our work ethic more than Social Media. Anyone can chatter just to be heard, but when

relationships and results are paramount, it becomes all about listening and telling a compelling story to the world.

Garnering national press for its innovation, our Social Media efforts extend well beyond Facebook and Twitter. Using the

latest technology, we are able to track what others are saying about our clients, across all public internet channels. This

is the next wave in building a brand: truly understanding the public sentiment and responding with a succinct, genuine

message. We even went so far as to build a “command center” (think Mission Control meets Elvis’ 3-screen TV den). Aside

from looking cool, it provides us a centralized place to conduct real-time social listening and monitoring.

PROGRESSIVE YET PERSONABLE.

Zehnder’s nationally acclaimed team of digital/interactive designers and programmers create marketing-driven solutions

on the cutting edge of industry technology. Of particular note, we’ve kept at the forefront of augmented reality concepts for

mobile apps, offering users a richer experience of their immediate surroundings. The designers take time to really get to

know our clients, using a two-stage process of discovery and planning to form a specific Technology Blueprint.

ONE TEAM. ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES.

What sets us apart from other agencies is our uncanny ability to connect with clients like family, and thus treat them like

we would our own— from understanding their dreams to nurturing opportunities and protecting their goals. Again, for

us it comes back to relationships and results. And frankly, it’s impossible to enjoy one without the other. Through a non-

traditional approach to Account Services, your relationship with Zehnder will grow from informal but organized meetings

with a range of representatives. Your assigned Account team will work directly with our designers and copywriters to

ensure a message that meets your objectives with a distinct flair. We believe that the difference between advertising

and art is discipline. That involves careful research, analysis and strategic planning, combined with good old-fashioned

creative brainstorms.

AGENCY MANAGEMENT TEAM

JEFF ZEHNDER – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER / STRATEGIST

Jeff has one mission—to change the advertising industry. The agency’s mission to “do

great work, make a difference, earn a fair profit, and have fun” has been Jeff’s mantra

from day one. He believes that great strategy and great creative must drive everything

an agency produces, and that everything we produce must deliver results. It is but one

reason that Zehnder boasts such a high client and staff tenure—a rarity in the industry.

Jeff also believes in innovating. At every opportunity, he has pushed the agency to test

new technology and to determine its place in our clients’ marketing efforts.

In addition to leading Zehnder, Jeff is actively involved in both industry and community.

In 2001, New Orleans CityBusiness featured Jeff in its Top 40 Under 40 issue, and the

Ad Club of New Orleans named him Ad Executive of the Year. Recently, Jeff was the

recipient of the American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award, which recognizes

individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the field of advertising. He

presently serves on the board of directors for Louisiana Hospitality Foundation, and on

the Dean’s Advisory Council at LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business.

DAVE MAHER – DIRECTOR OF INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY

With over a decade of Internet marketing and application development experience,

Dave’s proven success in designing and managing marketing-driven interactive

solutions makes him perfect for overseeing digital communications for Zehnder. He has

extensive experience in strategic planning, budget management, program performance

measurement, and user interface evaluation.

Dave’s expertise cumulates informational and interactive architecture methodologies

applied to build rich interactive solutions. He has a strong understanding and knowledge

of software development processes and procedures. He is knowledgeable in Flash, CSS,

HTML, relational database design, ColdFusion, and other Web development languages.

Dave is well versed in security practices for data authentication utilizing SSL encryption

technology. He has experience in integrating Social Media Marketing principles to create

dynamic user-driven web solutions.

Having worked with many local, regional, national and international clients, Dave is

responsible for creating cutting-edge technology experiences that are grounded in

functionality and business efficiency – embracing technology, creativity, and marketing.

MICHAEL RAINEY – CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER

Over the past 25 years, Mike has focused much of his energy on promoting clients in

hospitality, tourism, destination marketing, cuisine, economic development, institutional

branding as well as many social issues positively affecting the human condition. His

leadership has earned the agency numerous Best of Show and Special Judges’ Awards for

broadcast, interactive and print work, and has had campaigns featured in local, regional,

national, and international advertising competitions and creative publications.

The District Seven Ad Club awarded Mike the coveted Mosaic Award for extraordinary

multicultural work for the STEPs To A Healthier US (New Orleans) campaign, funded

through Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. In addition to National ADDY

Awards, Mike and his team were named a finalist for the American Association of Advertising

Agencies’ O’Toole Award in New York City, which recognizes an Agency’s collective body of

work in a single year. Mike has also been named Advertising Person of the Year by the Ad

Club of New Orleans.

As a principal shareholder with Zehnder Communications since 1997, Mike spends the

majority of his time leading the creative team from the New Orleans office and frequently

lends his expertise in judging numerous advertising award competitions throughout the US.

HENRY CHASSAIGNAC – CREATIVE DIRECTOR / COPY CHIEF

Henry’s developed award-winning campaigns for a wide array of clients in various

industries including hospitality, tourism, economic development, banking, telecomm,

insurance, energy services, automotive, and many others. After more than 20 years

in the ad business and countless local, regional and national awards, Henry lists four

National ADDY® Awards, two HSMAI Platinum Awards, three AAF Best of Show Print

honors, an AAF Best of Show Campaign, and two Special Judges’ Awards among his

personal highlights. The Ad Club of New Orleans named Henry Advertising Person of

the Year in creative services in 2002.

Henry heads up the company’s Nashville office and currently leads the creative strategy

and implementation for Gulf Coast Seafood, US Radiosurgery, DuPage Medical Group

in Chicago, Visit Baton Rouge, Zea Restaurants and Hyatt Regency New Orleans, to

name a few.

ROB HUDAK – INTERACTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Rob came to Zehnder with more than 10 years of professional design and interactive

experience. Nine of those years spent in New York City where he designed an online

creative presence, email marketing tool, and internal sales tools for JPMorgan Chase at

the Manhattan interactive agency Fusebox from 1998 to 2004.

Joining Zehnder in 2007, Rob has since created award-winning work at the creative helm

of the interactive department. His ability to apply creative solutions in the context of new

technology has helped put Zehnder at the forefront of innovation in Augmented Reality

and the mobile/social space.

BLAKE KILLIAN – DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA

Blake began his career at a traditional Public Relations firm before accepting a marketing

position with a web application development company based in New Orleans – and has

been working online ever since.

As the Director of Social Media, Blake integrates relevant and effective Social Media

strategies into client marketing initiatives. His PR background enables him to deal with

changing sentiment and emerging crises online on behalf of clients and their brands, and

his e-commerce experience always keeps him focused on the bottom line. Blake led the

charge to develop a comprehensive social media strategy and campaign for Louisiana

Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board to combat the negative perception that was

growing after the Gulf oil spill.
