The Analytics Market Continues to Grow
• Global IT spending is set to grow to $3.7 Trillion in 2018
But adoption lags behind at most organizations
5
• Business Intelligence software alone accounts for over $18 Billion in investments
• Yet the adoption of analytics at most organizations fails to exceed 30%

Why is this an issue?

People armed with intelligence simply make better decisions
Organizations have done a great job collecting information and capturing intelligence.
However, many still struggle to operationalize intelligence by putting it in the hands of people when and where they need it most.

Existing Tools Only Cater to a Small Subset of Users

The vast majority of people using analytics today are administrators, analysts, and data scientists
30%
70%
What’s stopping the 70% of people not using analytics today?
Most people don’t have the time, skill, or desire to seek out data on their own.

30% simply isn’t good enough.
Our vision of an Intelligent Enterprise is one where everyone benefits from
intelligence.

What is Alternate Keyword Matching?
32
Increase probability of matching using other Aliases
§ You can add alternate keywords to a card to broaden the scope of what appears as a keyword in your browser
§ They do not replace the original keyword you chose
§ Rather, they identify words or numbers that are synonymous with a keyword attribute that can invoke a HyperCard on your web browser

People Companies Products
Think about HyperCards as Surfacing the ‘Nouns’ (people, organizations, products, processesthat make up Your BusinessPeople, companies, and products
An organization could deploy a HyperCard to their business development representatives that presents information on prospects. The card could combine data pulled from their CRM and marketing automation systems and seamlessly surface it to reps within their existing prospecting workflows on LinkedIn and in email. Armed with this card, a rep could simply hover over a prospect’s name to find out their status, contact information, latest marketing touchpoint, and more.
An organization could deploy a HyperCard to their account managers that provides a 360-degree view of their accounts. The card could pull from Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and their internal support system to give an at-a-glance summary of an account’s status. With this card, whenever a salesperson sees a customer name in their email, on spreadsheets, in their CRM, in a Google search, or on a news site, MicroStrategy will instantly underline the customer name and the account manager can simply mouse over the highlighted word to get insights into the account.
A retailer could deploy a HyperCard to their store managers and product analysts that provides insight on all of their different SKUs. The card could provide relevant details for a specific SKU like inventory, sales, and competitor pricing. With this card a store associate could simply mouse over a highlighted SKU to quickly answer a customer question and determine whether or not a specific item was in-stock.
