About the Programme


ZODML ‘Meet the

Author’ programme aims

to get state government

secondary school

students to read

regularly and become

library users.


The first session with

Prof. JP Clark was

held in November

2012.


Since then 286 students and 11 authors have participated.


How It Works…


26 pupils are selected

each month, during

term-time and given a

book to read.


An interactive session

is then held between

the book’s author and

the students at our

community library.


After the session, the

students are taken on

a tour of the library

and given a library

card.
