Dear Parents, Pupils, Staff and Parishioners, Thank you to Class 5 (Year 2) who led our parent’s assembly this morning. They gave a beautiful tribute in honour of the men and women who have died as a result of war. They taught us all about Remembrance Sunday.

There will be a Remembrance Day Service and Parade on Sunday 12th November 2017 at 10.50 a.m. in the War Memorial Park.

Forest Schools: Class 5 have begun their Forest Schools Sessions and have got to know the woodland area well, identifying the types of trees we have and the plants we shouldn’t touch or trample. They have also begun learning knot tying and had a go at some nature based art, too. Thank-you to parents for providing wellies and suitable clothing – I am looking forward to running further sessions with these children and then others from Y2.

If any families throughout the school have old wellies or waterproofs that they no longer use at home, we would gratefully receive them in school for Forest Schools. Thank-you!

Anti-Bullying Week:

This will be celebrated in school next week. Anti-Bullying week shines a spotlight on bullying. The theme this year is ‘All Different, All Equal’. On Wednesday 15th November 2017 children can take part in Odd Socks Day! It’s an opportunity for children to express themselves and appreciate individuality and uniqueness!

On Friday 17th November we will

be supporting Children in Need.

Coventry Vaccination Clinic Details: The Vaccination team was in school recently to do the nasal flu vaccines. If a child with D.O.B from 01/09/2012 to 31/08/2009

(Reception – Years1- 4) has missed a nasal flu vaccine in school, then the immunisation clinic is available to give the vaccine.
