    Learning Outcomes After approved course the student should be able to:

    give an account of energy sources and their sustainabilitygive an account of aspects that influence wind energy developmentdescribe the process of wind energy utilizationperform an oral and written presentation of an individual or group assignment

    ContentThis course provides a general introduction to wind energy terminology, history and development. Topics include turbinefunction, wind energy planning, environmental considerations, site planning and financial considerations. A site study visitto an operating wind farm is included.

    InstructionThe course includes lectures, seminars, group and field work. Student attendance is compulsory at all scheduled events.

    AssessmentWritten hand in assignments and oral presentations.

    InnehllKursen ger en allmn introduktion till vindkraftens terminologi, historia och utveckling. Kursen innehller hur ettvindkraftverk fungerar, planering fr vindkraft, miljhnsyn, lokalisering och ekonomiska aspekter. Studiebesk till envindkraftpark ingr.

    UndervisningI kursen ingr frelsningar, seminarier, grupp och fltarbete. Nrvaro r obligatorisk vid alla schemalagda aktiviteter.
